Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are accepted without penalty up to 72 hours before 3 PM on the day of arrival. Cancellations within the 72-hour day cancellation policy are subject to the first night's room and tax. No refunds. Please be aware that attempting to modify a reservation within the 72-hour cancellation period will be considered a cancellation.

Pet Policy
The Palms Oceanfront Hotel does not allow pets.

Guarantee Policy
All reservations must be guaranteed either by valid credit card or by prepayment of a deposit.
Reservations will be held until 2:00 AM the day after arrival.

Wellness Checks
Your well-being is our top priority, and we want to ensure that your stay with us is safe. In line with our commitment to providing a comfortable stay, we occasionally conduct wellness checks on rooms that have displayed a "Do Not Disturb" sign for an extended period, exceeding 24 hours. Please be assured that your privacy is of utmost importance to us, and our staff members are trained to perform these checks with discretion and respect for your personal space.

What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in starts at 4:00 PM and check-out time is at 11:00 AM.

Can you request an early check-in or late check-out?
If late check-out is requested, there may be an additional fee. Early check-in time will be extended with no extra fee when available.

What if I need to check out early?
The Palms Oceanfront Hotel guests will be asked to confirm their departure date upon check-in. Guests may change their departure date without penalty at the time of check-in. An early departure fee of one half night's room and tax applies to guests checking in prior to their confirmed departure date.

Do you offer parking?
Parking is available, $10 on weekdays, $15 on weekends, and $15 on holidays from March 1 - October 31. *Free parking from November to February.

What is the smoking policy?
Our hotel is a smoke-free establishment. Smoking in a designated non-smoking area is subject to a fine.

Can I request a specific room?
Generally, our Charleston hotel cannot guarantee any room number or location, although we make every effort to grant special requests.

Am I getting the hotel's best rate?
We guarantee that the rates found through our official website are the lowest in comparison to other online sources for same day searches. If you find a lower rate, please contact us and we will gladly match it upon verification.

Do you have age restrictions on guests?
Children and young adults under the age of 21 must be with their parent or legal guardians to say at The Palms Oceanfront Hotel.
